Ground work

  • Repeating all the exercises  as in horsemanship level 1

  • Sidepassing stage 1
  • Disengaging hindquarters
  • Awareness of horse's position of feet in air and on ground
  • Stand

  • Lowering of head using pressure & release methods
  • Desensitizing

Mounted Work

  • Mounting & dismounting
  • Mouth training with lateral & vertical flexion
  • Forward motion all gaits
  • Circles
  • Speed Control using seat & body language (voice optional)
  • Balance
  • Seat leg and body positioning
  • Reins management
  • Stop  one rein stop
  • Stopping straight using woah & seat
  • Stop & turn
  • Change of directions
  • Disengaging hindquarters
  • Awareness of horse's feet in air or on ground by the feel
  • Shoulder control
  • Counter bend ( reverse bend)
  • Direct bend
  • Leg yield side passing stage 1
  • Back up straight
  • Back up drills
