I don’t know where to begin Thanking You for all that you have done for PJ & me. You have taken a very unsafe, stubborn and resistant horse and shaped it and molded it into a horse that I can now ride. You have taken a person with no horsemanship skills what so ever and taught me how to gain the respect of my horse. Your “People Clinics” have taught me the skills that I need to understand my horse and her natural ways so that I can apply the knowledge and use body language in my day-to-day routine with her. Others have used force to make my horse do what they want it to do but they never achieved the results that your Natural Horsemanship skills have achieved. Not once have you been cruel or unkind to my horse, always making sure not to break the Spirit of the horse. You have always treated PJ with respect while at the same time gaining her respect. It amazes me how focused you are when you are training. You are one with the horse. Thank you Pia for all you have taught PJ & me, you a very gifted & special person and I am very honored to have met you and have you work with my horse.

Horsetraining
I would like to thank Pia for working with my gelding, Artisto, & for teaching me how to work with my horse! The time that Pia spent with my horse made such a difference in his behavior! Pia not only has a real gift for reading & working with horses but also with people. My horse had been to several trainers & he "can ride". His problem was there were a lot of "holes" in his ground work. I found most trainers don't want to take the time to do all the ground work that should be done before riding. Pia spent the time he NEEDED! She worked hard & then taught me how to work with my horse to be a better horse person & communicate better with my horse. She taught me the things I needed to do that were important for him. Pia tailored "our program" to what we both could do & be successful at. I am so thankful to have found Pia, she made my horse safer for me & gentleman I could now work with. She taught him patience & respect. Pia is firm but very fair and I knew my horse was safe with her. Thank you Pia! You were just what we both needed!

Horsemanship Clinics
We had received training from various trainers but no one had been able to really make us understand horsemanship skills until we engaged Pia as our horse trainer.Pia was able in detail and yet in a very simple way develop our horsemanship skills whether it be ground work or in the saddle. We finally began to understand horses.
Pia's horse training methods completely changed our views and our ways of handling our horses.Her methods and understanding of horse behavior made us all very enthusiastic and eager to learn. We realized that we had to change our ways and develop our body language which is hard and takes time. We learnt to be patient. We especially learnt how important it is to treat the horse as a HORSE and not as a human.

People Clinic
During May 2005 we were 9 riding students who participated in Pia's People Clinic Part I and II.
It all took place outdoors which made the course of the clinic seem more intense.
During the first part of the clinic we worked in total silence, no talking. That experience made us all much more alert and aware of everything around us and of our own senses.
We were really confronted with our own and each others body language. New doors were opened and we gained a deeper insight into the world of horses. Thank you Pia, for this fantastic experience and thank you for teaching us to be more grounded so we can develop our horsemanship further. We will never forget it. On behalf of all the Students

Pia always make sure that her lessons suit the level of your own horsemanship skills as well as of your horse's level.
Pia is really good in making the riding lessons exciting and funny while still being serious about her work with horse and rider. She has a good feeling and understanding for horse and rider.
I have really learnt a lot from Pia and I miss her and her teachings in Denmark.

Watching Pia work with horses both riding and doing groundwork have changed my way of thinking .. When she does groundwork, she works WITH the horse and has a deep understanding of each individual horse, and that has furthermore changed my way of handling and riding my horses. I realize how important it is to give the horse TIME and the effect of repetition. I also realize that horses build confidence through habit, and they react to your body language not your speech. I also use the pressure & release methods which Pia introduced to me. I learnt that TIMING is the key to connect with the horse and I feel I have developed a deeper communication with my horses. We now begin to speak the "same language".
